2018-12-14 recently, the “2018 key practical technology and demonstration project of environmental protection catalog” was announced, and cweg’s innovative hbr™ (hybrid bio-reactor) high-efficiency-low-energy-consumption biofilm process was successfully included. the catalog is generated following an authoritative national selection event organized by the china association of environmental protection industry (caepi), going through strict procedures including caepi recommendation, formal examination, expert review and on-site inspection.
the hbr™ technology, featuring efficient removal of pollutants and low energy and land consumption, is one of the core technologies independently developed by cweg. getting approved at the achievement appraisal meeting organized by the caepi in october, this technology takes a leading position in china and has been applied in 6 wastewater treatment projects with a total capacity of 76,000 t/d (e.g. new wwtp building, wwtp upgrading, emergency projects) in guizhou, sichuan and other places. thanks to this technology, the effluent produced by these projects achieves the wwtp effluent discharge standard class ia (gb 18918-2002: discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatment plant), and is expected to meet more stringent discharge requirements if combined with advanced wastewater treatment technology.
