    in order to promote the follow-up strategicresearch of china’s “national water pollution control and treatment science andtechnology project” (known as “water special” project), and make a summary ofadvanced technologies and engineering applications in urban water system andwater environment management, during december 20-21, a 4-person delegationincluding yang zhe, deputy director-general at the office of major specialprojects of the ministry of science and technology, and guo liqiao, deputydirector-general at the water special project administrative office of theministry of housing and urban-rural development, investigated the dali erhailake water environment management ppp project. cweg vice president chen ming,pang hongtao, deputy general manager of beijing technology r&d center undercweg, and meng jianwei, cweg dali division general manager, accompanied thedelegation on the investigation.

  after listening to the report regarding the green development ofthis project and the planning of tourism facility for the six underground wwtpsmade by cweg dali division general manager meng jianwei, yang zhe praised thisproject as an organic combination of water environment management and greendevelopment across the entire ecological remediation process, and said theproject should be widely promoted in the industry.

  using the ppp model to resolve the problems faced by the government,the erhai lake wastewater interception project leaves professional fields toexperts, and thus secures long-term win-win results for both the government andenterprise. in line with the concept of green development, it relies onunderground wwtp structure to build green transportation system and eco-tourismfacilities for the erhai lake, and is of great importance to the protection ofwater quality of the erhai lake, receiving recognition from leaders of the twoministries.
