2019-12-10 on december 9 and 10, 2019, the department of standard quota of the ministry of housing and urban-rural development (mohurd) held a technological management training session in dali, yunnan. the training aims at the heads of housing and urban-rural development departments at provincial and autonomous region levels, and the housing and urban-rural development (management) committees of municipalities. guo liqiao, deputy director of the mohurd department of standard quota, attended to give guidance. liu yongli, deputy inspector of the department of housing and urban-rural development of yunnan province, delivered a speech. cweg chairman hou feng, and professor kong hainan of shanghai jiaotong university were invited to give lectures. the session was held at cweg xizhou underground wwtp and gucheng underground wwtp.
the underground wwtp construction model innovation and ecological complex pilot project — a “13th five-year” national key water project led by cweg plays a critical role in the successful governance of the erhai lake in dali. it has also been selected as a “13th five-year plan” national demonstration base for the application of water–related research findings by the ministry of housing and urban-rural development, prc.
based on the findings and data obtained by yunnan dali research institute of shanghai jiao tong university through years of research, cweg and professor hong hainan’s team co-designed the sewage interception system around the erhai lake, ensuring the water environment improvement of the lake. cweg will continue to cooperate with the institute to create a leading industry-university-research integrated platform for lake governance.
